Antique Navaja de Zaragoza of considerable size dating to the mid to late 19th century.
It is mounted with a very sturdy yatagan style carbon steel blade stamped *Valero Jun Zaragoza* transversally.
Handlles are made of tinted horn slabs alternating with brass overlays over steel liners. Horn scales embellished with decorative brass pins, knife’s end in the form of a rattlesnake rattle, upper bolster in the form of a crown.
The knife remains in good to very good overall conditions, blade is full in shape and locks up firmly and tightly with no loosness. Handles with some wear commesurate with age and type
It measures 28,7 cm when folded and 52,3 cm in fully extended position.
