# 4976 / Early 1900 J. RODGERS & SONS, NO. 6 NORFOLK ST. SHEFFIELD ENGLAND Pocket Knife

This nice pocket folding knife was made by the renewed Joseph & Rodgers Cutlery Company  with single sheep foot blade and nice genuine grisp

Blade is front marked " J.Rodgers & Sons* transversally and *N°6 Norfolk Str Sheffield England* across the tang. The tang is also back-stamped with the Maltese Cross and the Star symbol of the Rodgers cutlery registered by Rodgers in 1764. The inscription England indicates beeing made after 1890.

Blade looks to be in in full profile and close firmly with a snap. Overall pitting/ staining due to age. No damage to note to the fine slabs

This folder measures 13 cm long when folded and 7 cm when main blade is out
