Originally from Bisacquino (PA) Sicily, this traditional folder is part of the large family of "primitive" folding knives, made with two pins one which represents the axis of rotation of the blade; the other - sometimes thinner - serving as a stop for the blade heel when the knife is opened.
Handle has been carved from a whole piece of ram or goat horn with no supporting liners.
It measures 12 cm long folded and 22 cm long when fully extended
Blade is in full profile and still has a very firm snap with no wobble.
No chips or cracks to the horn
