Late 1860s Friedmann and Lauterjung's Celebrated Cutlery Barrel Knife

This wonderful pocket knife is a quill/pen knife with a total of 8 radial open blades 4 on each ends and an unusual body shape giving it the popular name of *Barrel knife*.

Unlike the more well-known barrel this one has all the different blades for vrious uses including a corkscrew and a hook and a disgorger

The body is made of wonderfully carved antique ivory sbalbs.

Mark on the blades is: "Friedmann and Lauterjung's Celebrated Cutlery "

The knife measures about 8,5 cm long and remains in excellent condition, all blades still lock up with a firm snap, are razor sharp and full in shape.

The scales with no chips, cracks or damage
