This beautiful antique French folder has 3 blades.

The main blade is the type known as *wharncliffe*. This type of blade with a totally flat cutting edge is considered by many as one of the finest, most practical and versatile designs for a pocket knife blade

This particular model is marked on tall the blades *A. Aubry/A Paris*

Two second blade is a pen blade and the third is a coping blade with a very keen edge

This knife can be classified as a serpentine due to its curved body shape, enhanced with finely checkered mother of pearl slabs

The knife is in unused condition, blades snap firmly and are razor sharp, still in full profile.

The knife measures 14 cm when the main blade is fully opened and 9 cm folded
