This is a very interesting and rare ISSOIRE French Folder featuring a long, thin and flattened *Bec de corbin* style handle fashioned with two horn plates over steel liners. The horn plates are held in place by steel pins. The knife has a hand forged blade and an hand forged corkscrew folding onto the spine. The spine has an hand forged *mouche a cran forcé* (slip joint lock tab). It opens and closes properly with no wobble when opened and the spring is very strong. Corkscrew with a strong and perfectly working spring. The knife measures 32 cm in fully extended position and 17,5 when folded. The condition is excellent for age and type, blade is in full profile with some overall pitting due to time. Horn slabs are perfect with no damage to note.
