1970s Pius Lang Lock-back 3 Blade Stag Pocket Sports Knife plus Corkscrew
The Pius Lang Cutlery Company was founded in 1852 and is considered one of the greatest and longest operating knife companies in the world. Their knives were first presented at the Paris World Exposition in 1889, with most famous 100 blades.
In 1970s limited series of deer stag handled hunting pocket folding knives were realised.
This is a very nice lock back three blade plus corkscrew version of the stag sports knife featuring mirror polish clip point locking master blade, saw with bottle openerand gutting blade. A sturdy grooved helix corkscrew is nestled into a recess on the back of the knife The main blade is tang stamped *Rostfrei handarbeit* (stainless hand made) with the Pius Lang logo between the letters T and F. Very nice deer stag slabs over brass liners fastened by brass pins.
12 cm long folded, master blade 10 cm long.
This wonderful piece comes directly from the Lang cutlery being part of an old stock never released in market. Pristine mint condition
