The Fiorentino is perhaps the most refined knife from the late production in Scarperia and this is a nice example of the typical Firenotino pattern folder. It is known as *Fioentino coi sodi* due to the large steel round plates at the bottom of the handles. The knife features a carbon steel blade mounted on a nice carved horn handle. The handle is fashioned with two plates of translucent horn without a supporting liner. It is a slip joint knife with the blade held in position by a strong back-spring. It is marked with the makers mark *Savi, Scarperia* . The knife remains in excellent conditions, with no separation lines and no chips or cracks . Blade is in full profile and still has a firm snap. 10,7 cm folded and 19,2 cm in fully extended position. 9,5 cm long when folded and 17,5 cm in fully extended position.
