Although the model is simple, this knife is very rare because not many knives were produced in the area of origin of this specimen. It is a Modenese knife from the region Emilia-Romagna located in the central-northern Italy. Very nice boxwood handles carved from a single piece of wood without a supporting liner and with steel upper bolster. It features a steel external spring with a squared locking tab to accommodate the teethed blade tang when the knife is in the locked open position. Single edge carbon steel clip blade. As all the utility knives its blade shows signs from sharpening but it remains almost in full profile, some up and down play when opened by not side by side wobble. No damage to note to the handles. The knife is 13 cm long when folded and 23 in fully extended position. PRICE UPON REQUEST
